Types Of Fires
There's many types of fires that happen everyday, and many ways for them to
start. Some types of fires are grass fires, barn fires, car fires, forest and hay field
fires,house fires,kitchen fires,chimney fires, and many more.Sometimes a fire can
start by your dryer, even one of the simplest house appliances can
bring a building down to the ground in flames and kill innocent people. In the
summer August 2014 a washing machine killed four innocent people. What
happened was the family just moved in 3 months ago, and they're dryer
wasn't hooked properly it was just temporarily and the lint trap
hadn't been cleaned out in a while. Then over those three months the fire had
started then caught on the wall and spread quickly, the family was upstairs and
weren't aware of the fire, it was too late when they found out. That fire killed nine
and eight year old boys and their parents.

How A Fire Starts
There’s many ways for a fire start, some ways are if you leave a hair straightener on and plugged in, if that hair straightener is sitting on a cloth, clothes or the ground, the heat of the straightener will eventually catch on fire. Another way for a fire can start is if you are running a chimney or a fireplace and there’s some piece of clothing in front the fire can easily spread onto the fabric. Barn fires can start by a lamp left on sitting in hay or straw that would easily spread, or if there’s wet hay baled and put into a barn. Also a grass fire can start if a lit cigarette is put into grass, that easily starts a grass fire that spreads in less than 20 seconds. In London a woman had to be carried out of her out due to a hair straightener that was left turned on sitting on her hard wood laminated floor.

Many fires start in Ontario and kill many people and animals. From personal experiences with fires they can spread extremely quick and can kill or injure tons of people. One most common fires are chimney fires, their highly dangerous once spreaded like any other fires. 3 years ago in 2011 we had a chimney fire in our farm house. At 5:06 pm we started our chimney up since it was getting colder outside and we had no heat in the house at the time. Since our wood stove wasn't hooked up properly, over time a fire started. I remember sitting in the house when we saw smoke, and we just put one of our dogs in her cage, when we saw smoke. I went outside to see if their was a fire starting and sure enough small flames started coming out of the chimney, my dad was on the fire department so he called in and told me “get your sister and the dogs out of the way!”. Once my sister Andrea and I got out of the house, we grabbed at least 5 leashes each and started putting leashes around dogs necks and running them to the barn. Looking at the fire was horrific the building was going down in burning flames. I remember counting the dogs over and over I knew we were missing one of them, Then my sister spoke up “Molly”s inside!!” In panic I ran near the smoke and flame filled house. I started sprinting toward the door when my father stopped me, “Don’t go in that house” determined to get Molly out of the burning house, I told him “Molly’s trapped inside!”. My dad ran into the house I never seen him run that fast, I remember seeing him cover his mouth and seeing a bunch of smoke fill out of the house when he went inside. Seconds later that felt like years he came out with the tiny dog in his arms, I felt a wave of relief when he came out with Molly. Minutes later the fire was put out, The house had to get new walls and everything, but no one was harmed. Unfortunately we had two of our dogs pass away since smoke got into their lungs, the fire could of been worse if it wasn't put out as soon as it was the entire house would of been gone. The fire started because the wood stove wasn't hooked properly only temporarily over time the fire started. This was just example of how horrific a fire could be this was a crazy experience and a great scene to live through.
Fire Dangers
The danger of fire is everywhere, the most common fires are
kitchen, electrical, heater, and smoke related fires. Some ways
to start forest fires are, If you burned leaves then put it out with
water, the fire is still a little bit alive if the grass gets wet over time a forest fire will start. An electrical fire can start by too many things plugged in to one outlet, or when a cord is plugged in and hanging over furniture over time the heat of the cord, the furniture will become burning flames. An heater could start a fire by having a piece of clothing hanging over it.

Worlds major fires
One of the major fires was Chicago's Iroqouis theatre that went up in flames on December 30th 1903, Killing 602 people and injuring 250 people in minutes. An arc stage light bursted into a strip of flames and spreaded to the stage curtain. With over 2,000 people inside mainly mothers and children, The fire moved quickly across the walls in minutes the entire building was full of smoke and smoldering flames. People fled the building at the first sight of fire not a lot were lucky to get out in time 602 people were burnt to death and killed because a light exploded. When the stage collapsed everyone went into panic and fled to the 27 exits, the entire building went black.Once firemen arrived and fought the flames to get inside Silence was in the pitch black air of the theatre,"Is anyone living!?" a fire chief yelled still no answer. When that Tragedy struck tons of families and friends lost people on that even though some were in critical condition in the hospital not many made it. The point is fires are highly dangerous and life threatening Messing fire isn't a great idea starting a fire will get you charged ans spend some jail time, you'll get severely burnt if your not careful. Fire is not harmless playing around with fire can get you seriously injured, don't play with fire stay safe.
